Mr Barrie White

I have just come home after visiting my sister in hospital at QMC and happened to be there when her Surgeon, Barrie White came to see her. My sister had been full of praise for him since their first meeting which had been a week ago prior to him operating on a suspected spinal tumour. I had thought that it was just human nature to be incredibly grateful to any surgeon for potentially performing life saving surgery and to put them on a pedestal but after being present with my daughter as well, I can safely say he is now on our pedestals too!! You have the feeling that he really listens and cares and that he is 100% invested in the best physical and emotional wellbeing of his patient. In my sister's case, Mr White had great news as it had not been a tumour but something else which was very rare and he had even taken the trouble to print out some information for her so that she could research/understand what the diagnosis was. I was amazed at this level of service to just one of his many patients and I am pretty sure that he is just as dedicated to every one of them. I have been in hospital on many occasions myself with fairly complex issues and I have never been a recipient of such care from any of my consultants and just wanted to take a minute to recognize this. In my opinion, Mr White possesses skills and qualities that you can't teach; you either have them or you don't and I have no doubts in recommending him wholeheartedly

This doctor did absolutely superb work with me with both examinations and explanations, I could not imagine better care anywhere on Earth. I can now sleep without worry about my future and book travel insurance with all the latest facts. Thank you Mr White!

This doctor is great because his personal attention to his patients better than first class - it is superb. His skill at the top of his game is still leading others. He fully deserves thanks and appreciation for all his hard work on the behalf of patients from far and near. I am delighted to travel from the next county to be invited to his clinic on the National Health Service as I could not find equal expertise closer to my home. Thank you very much indeed.

Once again I want to say a big thank you to Mr White for his continual care each time I make contact with him regarding my ongoing spinal cord injury problems. He never fails to reply to my request within minutes of me contacting him. Such a wonderful caring thoughtful man and surgeon, who cares about his patients.
